Calling all, guys and ghouls! It’s the most frightening time of the year... Halloween is on Saturday, October 31. Not sure where to go? There are plenty of hotels, restaurants and bars getting into the spooky spirit. Here’s our ultimate guide on where to celebrate Halloween in the city.

Jing-A

The annual Jing-A Beer Mile returns to the brewery’s Longfusi taproom. Come dressed in costume and get ready for an afternoon of laps and pints. Each participant gets four beers for RMB98. A pint-sized party with pinatas and trick-or-treating will take place earlier from 12-3pm for kids (free admission). All locations will have lucky draws, a costume contest and an RMB35 special for two new themed beers: Black Cat Lager and Monster Mash Pumpkin Ale.

EAST Beijing

EAST Beijing is preparing tricks and treats for all ages at their Spooktacular Halloween full-buffet brunch at Feast. Get all the classics with a special Halloween twist. Costumes are encouraged! There will even be a contest for the spookiest outfit, as well as a Halloween cookie making class and face painting at Xi’an Bar (free for kids who attend the Halloween brunch at Feast).

YIN on 12

New World Beijing Hotel’s lounge bar is transforming into a haunted house for two thrilling nights. The Opposite House is giving Superfly a horrifying makeover. The restaurant will turn into a Chinese-themed haunted house for Halloween with scary good cocktails, a live DJ, drag queens and a live music performance. The entrance fee of RMB150 will get you two complimentary drinks.

Beersmith

Beersmith is throwing a stylish Halloween party full of scary fun this weekend. Stop by for drink specials like their Blood Red IPA and Imperial Pumpkin Ale, live DJs, and exciting music performance, make-up stations and more. Don’t forget the devilish dress code – leather and latex.

Eudora Station
