Mifan or Mafan: Capital Spirits

Ah, finally, the old hutong staple is back. But there’s a catch: It’s a coffee shop by day and Capital Spirits by night. Yes, this iteration is a coffee collaboration with HALF COFF33, losing the baijiu bar’s original intimate ambiance and unique charm. The layout is deliberately hip, in an intimidating and might-fall-to-your-death ever so quaintly kind of way. Elevated resting nooks are staggered up one high wall, though there’s a large glass table in the middle of the room for safer seating. Strange setting aside, the beloved baijiu cocktails (RMB50-80) are still served all the same and the intro tasting flight is still just as adventurous (RMB50). If it’s coffee and a nice cocktail you're after, definitely give it a go.
