Mifan or Mafan: Big Small Coffee (Beiluoguxiang)

Yes really – another Big Small cafe. (Man, those guys must be doing something right.) The third-wave coffee heroes have opened their fourth shop in a rather unexpected location: right off of Beiluoguxiang. (Wait… are places actually – dare we say it – migrating to Gulou?!) 

With a spacious courtyard out front – featuring some bright exercise bikes and benches – the new minimally designed spot is still going through a bit of construction but churning out brews already. And we don’t just mean coffee – this Big Small also offers a compact selection of beers by Crafters on tap. That means we could enjoy our Geisha Latte (RMB25) with a Tiny Gangsta IPA (RMB30) all in one spot – but we don’t, because, well, it’s noon.
