With 6 Tony, 2 Olivier, 1 Grammy, 2 Bafta and 6 Academy Awards, Chicago truly is “The sharpest, slickest show on the block". "The King of Pop is dead, long live the King of Pop!" (In holographic form, anyway.) Yup, here is your chance to see the Michael Jackson, as a holograph. Thanks to some pretty impressive technology, you can watch as the MJ digital apparition moonwalks his way across the stage and performs some of his greatest hits. Think 'Thriller,' 'Beat It' and 'Man in the Mirror,' to name a few.

Expect some OG urban tracks and wicked world beats all night from some of the dopest selectors and DJ’s plus a couple of MC’s spitting hot fire. This is a rare chance to see Far East Lion, The Rumpus and Come Correct Crew combine for a monster show, so don't miss it!

China Social Club is warming up the winter months with nitty-gritty electronica and basslines. Inspired by the 1954 novel of the same name - featuring an evil young girl with sinister motives - CSC invites you to forget your humility and let out your own bad seed. DJs Illsee, HYMN and Frau will be providing literary like twists and turns with house, acid, techno, EBM, ghetto, two-step and jungle rhythms on this genre unrestricted jaunt.

Dec 21, 9pm, no cover. Dada, see event listing.

Dec 22: Riddim'n'Vibe

Flyer courtesy of the promoter

Riddim'n'Vibe roll into C’s Bar to bust out the freshest drum & bass and jungle sounds along with some old skool classics mixed in for good measure. Whether you're a local, new in town, or just passing through, come down and shake it with the massive crew.

Dec 22, 10pm, no cover. C's Bar, see event listing.

Dec 22: Giant Swan

Giant Swan is the brainchild of Robin & Harry; an acerbic marriage of energized, aggressive dance music, quaking bass and hypnotic electronic noise. Across a table of machines and pedals, incorporating abused guitar and liberal vocal manipulation, Giant Swan create a cross-breed of hypnotic bass, industrial percussion and disorientating energy delivered with telepathic intricacy.

Dec 22, 11pm, RMB100-130. Modern Sky Lab, see event listing, buy tickets.
