veganSTEP is back! After a hugely successful premier event in July, the popular 14-day dietary challenge has opened up registration for its next event. veganSTEP is calling all who are interested in, or wish to transition to, veganism to participate.
Beginning December 17, the challenge is totally free and offers daily tips and discounts at participating businesses in Shanghai. (Click here to see some of the fantastic deals). All participants have to do is vow not to eat any foods made from animals for the duration of the challenge. Awards will be given to those who submit the most photogenic vegan food and the best easy-to-make vegan recipe.
Throughout December, veganSTEP will be hosting a number of fun events as well. To kick things off, all participants are invited to the December 15 launch party where the program will be discussed at length, and any questions can be answered. Vegan meat, cheese, yogurt and other vegan goodies will be available for purchase at a discount for all in attendance.
veganSTEP was designed by Vegans of Shanghai and ICARE by GoalBlue with the primary goal of living sustainably raising awareness about veganism and the harmful effects of consuming of animal products.
