Michelin Guide Recommended Fifty 8° Grill Launches New Summer Menu

If you're looking to mix things up this summer, look now further than the Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai. Its acclaimed award-winning restaurant Fifty 8° Grill has concocted a spectacular seasonal menu and there's no doubt this is very welcome news to Shanghai's gourmands.

The modern French grill was masterminded by acclaimed Michelin-starred chef Richard Ekkebus, executive chef of Mandarin Oriental Landmark in Hong Kong, and its fine dining restaurant Amber. 

Fifty 8° Grill is changing things up for the season with its exciting new summer menu, which was designed with talented British Chef de Cuisine Joshua Paris.

Highlights include raw hamachi with heirloom tomatoes, radishes and mild chilli (RMB128), Iberico de belotta ham with purple potatoes and green asparagus (RMB268), Dalian abalone with sauce diable, garlic butter and celery (RMB188) and mixed grill featuring lamb cutlets, pork tenderloin, wagyu rump cap, grilled vegetables and chimichurri (RMB798).

For a perfect ending to the meal, new dessert dishes have been introduced to the menu, including a compressed pineapple with coconut sorbet, ginger and pink peppercorn (RMB88) and a raspberry snowball with vanilla cream (RMB88).
