Mar 22: BNJIMN
The latest guest in Shanghai from local promoters Say Yes Asia is UK-born, Berlin-based producer BNJIMN. He had a double release on Tresor’s label last year, and has become known for his futuristic and hypnotic take on sci-fi inflected techno. Catch his set at Elevator.

Mar 23: Afrobund with Jose Marquez
UNICO's latest Afrobund party showcases LA-based DJ and producer Jose Marquez. Expect a mix of Afrohouse, Latin dance music and global beats. He’ll be joined by Thomas Dyani on live percussion with a warm up set by resident DJ S.Kiv. Arrive before midnight and say the password COCO at the door to get in free. Gin & Tonics are free flow from 9.30-10.30pm.

Mar 23: VOID: Bizango
Veteran Shanghai techno crew VOID returns to Elevator with Bizango, their night showcasing resident members, which this month include WenSen, nmlss and Shanghai Ultra. Don’t miss a night on the dance floor with the “best electronic music sorcerers in the land.”

Mar 23: Rap Caviar
The club is “fusing Bar Rouge with hip-hop” for their new Rap Caviar night, showcasing a set of hip-hop and trap from DJ Roma Hard. Rumor has it there will be actual caviar available, too.

Mar 24: Ladyfest
Ladyfest is Shanghai's annual celebration of female empowerment and gender equality. The fest returns this year with a full day of performances, workshops, art exhibitions, talks and more. Head there to celebrate womanhood and femininity in all its many forms. Details about the line-up and schedule are still emerging, so stay tuned for updates.

Mar 24: Techno Train with D-Unity
Canadian electronic musician D-Unity, a house and techno DJ who has his own label Unity Records and has released tracks with Carl Cox, arrives in Shanghai for a set at Arkham. Support comes from Shanghai techno DJs Lina K, Aida and MIIIA.

Mar 24: Cezaire
French producer Cezaire combines together funk, soul, house and hip-hop to create his supremely sultry and danceable sound. Check out his newest track “Wave off his Roche Musique label. and then catch his retro, 80s and 90s-inspired set at Le Baron.

Mar 24: Egyptian Lover
Active since the 80s, LA’s Egyptian Lover is widely considered a pioneer for popularizing electro rap with his instrumental beats made on a Roland 80, and he’s paved the way for other West Coast hip-hop artists, from Dr. Dre to Snoop Dogg. Catch his show at Dada.

Mar 24: Rainbow Disco Club with Move D
Japanese club night and frequent Shanghai visitors Rainbow Disco Club send over Move D for a set at Elevator. Expect a psychedelic mix of 60s and 70s jazz, rock, soul and early electro.

Mar 27: Zedd
A regular visitor to Shanghai, Russian-German DJ and producer Zedd returns for his latest club show at LINX. Known for major hit songs like 'Clarity' featuring Foxes and 'Break Free' with Ariana Grande, Zedd won a Grammy for Best Dance Recording in 2014 and has released 2 full-length albums.
