Feb 17: Herobust
The
Atlanta producer merges the big basslines of his hometown with soulful
atmospherics and industrial-edged electronica. Tastemakers like
Skrillex, Tiësto and Diplo have sung his praises. Herobust’s SHFT
organized China tour stops off at a makeshift spot on the top of a
furniture shopping centre complete with a big sound system.

Rising homegrown Shanghainese electronic collective Genome 6.66Mbp takes over Elevator with some help from the Mexican producer known for recontextualizing local and classical sounds into avant-garde dance pieces. He’ll be supported by Genome 6.66Mbp members Scintii and RVE, as well as Wholes, Miraisenshi, Khemist, Hyph11e, Kilo-Vee and 1666+ Noctilucents.

The
Parisian hip hop beatmaker has won wide acclaim for his experimental
chopped-up R&B laden beats that incorporate influences from around
the world. His Chinoiseries famously featured
sounds culled
from Chinese music records found in China, Thailand and Vietnam. For his
return to Shanghai, he’ll be performing a special live set.

Ever
since his unofficial bootleg of David Guetta’s ‘When Love Takes Over’
took over the internet and piqued the interest of Guetta himself, Nicky
Romero has ascended into EDM stardom. With chart-topping hits like ‘I
Could Be The One’ and ‘Feet On The Ground’ to his name, Romero has been
recruited by pop stars Rihanna and Britney Spears for production work.
