Since you're already sweating anyway from the combination of sweltering heat and insufferable humidity, why not partake in a water gun fight this weekend in Jing'an?
Yes that's right, a water gun fight.
Be a part of the very first summer water gun party at Zeitgeist, hosted by the Bearded Bear and sponsored by Boulevard Pale Ale and Firestone Walker Easy Jack IPA on Saturday, July 15.
Not only will there be water guns, but there will also be tons of vendors serving craft beers, Bloody Marys, margaritas, wine and much more. You'll be able to find some of these drinks in The Splash Zone (more on that shortly), so be on your guard!
But with all of this alcohol, you'll definitely need something to soak it up. Fear not, because there will be plenty of food vendors to satisfy your hunger after a day of water gun wars.
Palmetto will be selling sausages (Chicago style and mac 'n' cheese), Porky's will be serving burgers, hotdogs and wraps, while Hot Box is preparing grilled cheeses.
Now we get to the most exciting part of the party: The Splash Zone. Here is where you can truly participate in the festivities by soaking your friends with access to an endless supply of water guns and water balloons. There are also kiddie pools if you'd rather relax but still want to experience The Splash Zone.
Entrance is RMB50, which gives you access to The Splash Zone and all of its amenities, as well as a complementary Boulevard Pale Ale. There will also be complimentary zip-lock bags available to keep your valuables dry.
