Yes! Ernesto Chahoud from Beirut is back with his magic box of very
rare 7 inch vinyl records, Lebanese garage rock, rare soul, and most
importantly, Ethiopian funk and jazz. One of our favorite releases of
the year so far, Ernesto's compilation TAITU: Soul-fueled Stompers
from 1960s - 1970s Ethiopia (BBE Records) was just released in
February and he's been on a big world tour since. This weekend the
tour hits Dada Beijing and Shanghai.
