A pregnant woman become enraged on Beijing’s Line 10 on Thursday when passengers failed to offer her a seat on the subway, South China Morning Post reports.
When she was not given a seat, the woman sat down on the gap between the subway car and the platform, preventing the doors from closing and the subway from departing.
The incident, which was captured on video, shows subway employees rushing to the scene and attempting to get her to move. The woman can be heard saying, “I won’t get off the train! No one would even offer their seat for me!”
The incident occurred during rush hour yesterday on Line 10, which is one of the busiest lines in the capital. Other passengers seen in the video expressed their frustrations over the delay, which lasted for only a few minutes.
