A handy guide to climbing clubs in the PRD:

Guangzhou:

Qingtian Rock Climbing Club 擎天攀岩俱乐部

Built in 2006, Qingtian is the largest facility of its kind in Guangzhou. With 300 square meters of standard outdoor climbing walls, including cliff and other types, and 150 square meters of standard indoor climbing walls, it is easily the city’s most popular club. It is also regarded as the most professional in Guangzhou, with training from pros available.

Olympic Center Climbing Club 奥林匹克体育中心攀岩俱乐部

With six 22-meter artificial rock faces, Olympic Center Climbing Club boasts the highest man-made climbing walls in China. Three types of structure allow beginners, intermediates and experts to discover their ideal route to the top.

Kailas 凯乐石攀岩馆

Unlike other venues with their all-gray equipment, Kailas offers a bit of glam with colored walls. Established three years ago, it is more than just a place with climbing and bouldering walls – it also rocks a bouldering equipment shop and is a great place to meet other similarly inclined hobbyists.

Shenzhen:

Xiantong Climbing Club 仙桐体育公园攀岩区
