Cooler Temperatures Arrive in South China

Residents in Guangzhou and Shenzhen can look forward to cooler temperatures in the coming days, after what’s been an undeniably hot summer and warm fall, by our assessment.

According to a post by the Guangzhou Meteorological Bureau on Sunday, temperatures will drop to 13 degrees Celsius on Tuesday with a high of 21 degrees.

The low today is 16 degrees with cloudy skies, while the high is 23 degrees. After Tuesday, Guangzhou residents can expect temperatures to gradually rise throughout the week, with Sunday forecasted to hit a low of 19 degrees and a high of 26 degrees.

As for Shenzhen, residents in the seaside metropolis can also look forward to cooler air. Shenzhen Weather Bureau’s weekly forecast shows a low of 15 degrees starting on Tuesday with a high of 22 degrees.

Just like its provincial neighbor, temperatures will rise throughout the week, reaching a low of 19 degrees on Friday.

So, enjoy the cooler weather because you never know when it’ll come back...
