For the entire month of November, Grand Hyatt Shenzhen will be launching a range of special offers in celebration of its 10th anniversary. The specials will highlight the hotel’s renowned food and beverage service, which just scratch the surface of the surprises and excitement of #LivingGrand.
Ten handpicked famous chefs will descend upon China Lodge, Grand Hyatt Shenzhen’s in-house Chinese restaurant. The chefs will present a special ten-course menu that will highlight Chinese culinary and cultural roots. The menu will feature Jiangnan, Shunde, Huaiyang, Chaozhou and Sichuan cuisine using the freshest ingredients from the respective regions.
Grand Hyatt Shenzhen has also partnered with Maserati to create a specially designed afternoon tea that will only be available at The Lounge from November 7 to December 31. The afternoon tea set was inspired by Maserati’s classic and modern style. You’ll find delicious pastries decorated blue and white, which are Maserati’s brand colors, as well as other nods to its 105th anniversary celebration.
The Show Kitchen is not only known for its cuisines from all around the world, but for its open kitchen. Guests can watch how these scrumptious dishes are crafted by talented chefs, a truly interactive experience. During the celebration period, there will be many shows and activities: live carving of beef, yellowfin tuna, slow roasted Tomahawk steak and traditional Chinese Shunde-style steamed whole pig. Additionally, there is a newly opened oyster market featuring fresh shucks of the day.
If you enjoy pleasant sunshine and a gentle breeze, the outdoor dining areas at La Terrazza and Sugar Box are both highly recommended. Seated at a wooden table, chatting with your close friends, sharing a freshly baked Italian pizza... what better way to enjoy an afternoon. Try the authentic flavors from Northern Italy, such as cured meat or braised lamb spaghetti prepared by an Italian guest chef.
As lights begin to twinkle across the city, the revelry begins. At The Penthouse, don’t miss the ‘Red and Black’ Halloween party on during October 31-November 2. This isn’t one of your standard Halloween costume parties. The Grand Hyatt Shenzhen invites guests to wear elegant red and black attire. What’s more, a special single malt whisky, champagne and oyster tasting party will be available at the top of the hotel.
Last but not least, Belle-Vue Grill and 1881 will be bringing the classic best of Belle-Vue buffet by the hotel’s first female chef. A must-try dish is the wood fired Beijing duck, which will be sure to delight.
