Feeling hot?

Not for much longer you won’t! While we’ve reported on a couple of cold fronts in November, this upcoming weekend looks as promising as ever for those of us who are waiting for the weather to change.

The incoming cold front is set to drop the average daily temperature in most Guangdong cities by 5 to 8 degrees Celsius, according to GRT Radio.

In Guangzhou, temperatures will start to drop on Friday night, December 7, with a low of 13 degrees Celsius, according to the Weather Channel. The weekend is expected to be quite chilly with the high on Saturday and Sunday at 16 and 13 degrees, respectively. The low this weekend is expected to be 10 degrees, with periods of rain throughout Sunday.

Shenzhen, as per usual, can expect slightly warmer temperatures than its counterpart to the west. This upcoming weekend, the low for Saturday and Sunday will be 12 degrees, accompanied by highs of 21 degrees on Saturday and 17 degrees on Sunday. Even still, it’s a nice change of pace from the borderline summer temperatures that have lingered in recent weeks.

Whether you have plans this weekend or are working a grueling Saturday and Sunday shift, be sure to enjoy the cool weather.
