Famed hardstyle producer Headhunterz lands in Shenzhen this weekend. The Dutch maestro behind tunes such as 'Rock Civilization', 'Forever Az One' and 'End of my Existence' has experimented widely with different forms of the hardstyle genre, while still remaining true to his roots. He also voiced Peter Pevensie in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe, so there you go.

Fri, Nov 23: Mechatok + Mobilegirl @ Oil Club
Timur Tokdemir feels there’s something lacking in club music. Narrative, drama, emotion. With his project, Mechatok, the 20-year-old German producer wants to bring blockbuster empathy to the club, making you feel like you’re in a movie when you’re dancing to his beats. One of the hottest young acts of the moment, Mobilegirl, joins him on the evening.

Sat, Nov 24: Sparrow @ B10 Live
Instrumental band Sparrow return to Guangdong with their latest release, Temple Rain Lianzhu. The band position themselves as a throwback in this era of electronic and hip hop music but make no mistake, their emotional, soaring guitar lines will run you ragged in a way that a lot of modern music cannot.

Sat, Nov 24: Glow Curve @ Brown Sugar Jar (Shekou)

While Glow Curve's music may most resemble post rock, that genre isn't quite enough to describe their very unique sound. The band have been known to employ found-sound and ambient noise into their tracks, seperating themselves from the pack. The second Modern Sky band on this list after Sparrow, Glow Curve offer another side of the post rock genre for fans to enjoy.
