Thu, Nov 1: Archaique Smile @ B10 Live

Another Japanese post rock band rolls through town this week, with Tokyo-based Archaique Smile bringing their new album, Elegy, through B10 Live. This is the second time the band has toured China, after touring just last year. Catch them this Thursday for otherworldly vibes.

Fri, Nov 2: Hush @ A8 Live

Wildly popular Taiwanese balladeer, Hush, will bring his brand-spanking new album, In Other Words, to China this month. His signature romantic style, matched with a fantastically unpredictable fashion sense, have made him something of a heart-throb in these parts of the world.

Fri, Nov 2: jon1st @ Oil Club

Described by Oil Club as a DJ's DJ, jon1st has a number of impressive appearances and collaborations under his belt. Working with the likes of Beardyman, Captain Crunch and Benny Roach, whilst also making appearances on mixes by  Boiler Room, DJ Mag and Rinse FM. His Facebook also states that skateboarder Rodney Mullen is one of his heroes, so you know he is cool.

Sat, Nov 3: 白百Endless White @ Brown Sugar Jar - Public Live

Shoegaze and dream-pop outfit 白百Endless White go out on tour this month, making their way to Brown Sugar Jar in Futian to perform alongside local indie band Mott on November 3. In support of their awesome debut studio album, Flow West to You, this is a chance to catch one of China’s very best young indie bands at the minute.

Sat Nov 3: BudX Freakout @ Tom Live

Billed as the wildest and largest of China’s annual Halloween Warehouse Rave Tours, BUDX Freak Out makes its way to Shenzhen this weekend for what’s expected to be an evening of scary, boozy, debauched fun. Make your way to Tom Live to get in on the antics.
