It’s back: the 2018 edition of Canton Plage – French National Day is set to be held on July 13 in Guangzhou and July 14 in Shenzhen. Organized by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (CCIFC) and Consulate General of France in Guangzhou, the Guangzhou celebration will take place at the Hotel Nikko Guangzhou, while the Shenzhen event will be held at Residence G Shenzhen.
French and Chinese communities in both cities will gather to celebrate French National Day and experience the diversity of French culture. Numerous activities will entertain guests, including swimming. Don't have a swimsuit? No problem: guests will be provided with pool attire at both parties, courtesy of the outdoor enthusiasts at Decathlon.
Like every year, a delightful selection of tipples will be on offer at the open bar – from French wines by Red Pony to spirits by Pernod Ricard. Beer drinkers will be happy to know that free flow San Miguel suds will also be available.
Hungry attendees will be treated to a succulent barbecue as well as French and Asian edibles, while Confee will provide a spread of fine cheeses.
Those in attendance will also stand the chance to walk away with some cool prizes from the event’s ‘raffle game.’ According to organizers, Canton Plage – French National Day is the ideal occasion for companies and brands to showcase their products and connect with potential clients.
In previous years, a number of international firms and SMEs have participated in the event to help expand the reach of their brands. This year, 30 tables have been reserved for companies to ensure an atmosphere conducive to business connections and networking.
This exceptional annual event is made possible thanks to each and every one of CCIFC’s supportive partners.
