Heads up to Shenzhen's style-savvy: Last Friday, registration for Shenzhen Fashion Week 2018 officially opened up via the organization's official WeChat account (ID: szfashionweek).
Over 80 fashion shows and exhibitions featuring roughly 200 designers are scheduled to take place from March 13-19, all housed in the gleaming new-ish Museum of Contemporary Art & Planning Exhibition (MOCAPE).
The venue combines a much-anticipated addition to Shenzhen's art scene with an exhibition space; although separate institutions, they share conference rooms, service areas, exhibition halls, an auditorium and a lobby with a shiny 'cloud' centerpiece.
Besides being undeniably eye-catching (see an awesome Insta shot here), the new Fashion Week venue also serves a symbolic purpose, reinforcing this year's theme of 'Zero Distance Between Art and Fashion.'
According to a press release from organizers, catwalks will stretch and wind around three huge showrooms, while seating will be more integrated into the shows themselves. Pop-up stores and more couture will also be available on MOCAPE's fifth floor.
The roster of 200 designers features names both Chinese and international. From wacky and whimsical looks to the colorfully chic, Fashion Week 2018 features plenty of brands you might remember from last year, plus some new ones.

In addition to shows there'll also be events, such as the opening and closing ceremonies, fashion/art exhibits, 'innovation salons' and various brand events. To stay on top of the upcoming schedule, follow Shenzhen Fashion Week's official WeChat account at ID 'szfashionweek' or visit their website.
Hope to see you there!
