A week after reporting on Ariana Grande’s fall concert in Hong Kong, we can now announce that everyone's favorite 'dangerous woman' is bringing her Dangerous Woman Tour to the mainland this August.
The super-mega-pop star will be visiting Beijing’s Wukesong Arena on August 26, before heading south to wow crowds at Guangzhou’s International Sports Arena on August 30. Tickets go on sale to the public for both shows on July 9 and range in price from RMB380-1,680 in Beijing and RMB480-1,680 in Guangzhou.
While only Beijing, Guangzhou and Hong Kong are confirmed for now, shows in other cities may be announced in the coming weeks.
Since her Nickelodeon days singing about popularity with MIKA, Grande's risen to experience plenty herself, asking for just a little bit of our hearts with tracks that'll get you moving from side to side.
In 2013, Grande was named ‘Best New Artist’ at the American Music Awards, the start of a myriad of honors, including winning ‘Favorite Breakout Artist’ at the People’s Choice Awards 2014 and scoring a No. 1 single on both iTunes ‘Overall Top Songs Chart’ and ‘Top Pop Songs Chart’ in 2016.
Grande’s Dangerous Woman Tour was put on hold late last month after a 22-year-old male detonated a suicide bomb outside her performance at Manchester Arena, in Manchester, killing 23 people and wounding over 100 others.
The tour recommenced earlier this month following a star-studded June 4 benefit concert in Manchester, One Love Manchester, which saw performances from Miley Cyrus, Coldplay, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry, to name a few.
Manchester’s own Liam Gallagher, who is performing in Shenzhen and Beijing this August, made a surprise appearance near the end of the show. (Click here to watch the full One Love Manchester performance on YouTube.)
Tickets go on sale to the public July 9 at 12pm at Damai.cn and Damai ticket hotline 1010-3721. The American Express Card Members Exclusive Pre-sale will open July 5 at 12pm through July 8 at 12pm.
