Shenzhen may seem as far away from Ireland as possible, both culture and geography-wise, but don't let that stop you from celebrating good old St. Patrick's Day the 'right' way, with nonstop drinking and partying.

Below, we've gathered some of the best holiday food and drink deals in the city and we'll keep updating until the day of. Don't forget to wear green on March 17, and prepare yourself for the good (read: drunk) times ahead.

Make a St. Patrick's Day to remember

Blu Bamboo

The Seaworld sports bar is offering 20 percent off all food from 6-10pm, followed by alcohol specials from 11pm-midnight. A pint of green beer, a shot of Jameson, Heineken/Tiger and mixed drinks are each only RMB25. If you're feeling fancy, get a bottle of red or white wine for RMB150.

Brew Magic Pub

For a more authentic holiday experience, check out a group of musicians at Brew Magic who'll be performing Irish music on traditional instruments from 7pm onwards. Refresh yourself with RMB15 cans of Guinness, plus homemade bread and smoked chicken.

Evil Duck

The new Craft Head takes its holidays seriously. Their St. Patrick's Day specials include not only 'tri-color meat and stout pie' (RMB69) plus Bailey's frosted cupcakes (RMB30), but also Irish stout (RMB35), Jameson (3 for RMB100) and an 'Evil Duck emerald mule' (RMB45). In addition, there'll be Irish musicians and 'special prizes' at the bar all weekend long.

George & Dragon

Load up before a long night out at George & Dragon, which is offering a deal on an Irish-inspired set meal. If corned beef and soda bread aren't your thing, you can always fall back on green beer (RMB25 a pint), RMB10 jello shots, and RMB30 shots of Jameson or Bailey's Irish Cream.

Juice Baby Cafe

The Shuiwei bar is joining in on the fun with some enticing drinks specials. Either a 50 milliliter pour of Jameson whiskey or a bottle of Foxes Rock Stout will set you back only RMB25.

La Maison

For a whole two hours, get a sweet buy-one-get-one-free offer on beer at La Maison. 6-8pm is the perfect time to swing by with a friend, or seven.

Ever wanted to try a green pulled pork taco? For just RMB15, you can make that dream become reality at the new Mambo Bistro. Less adventurous partygoers can settle for a RMB25 deal on draft beers.

This St. Patrick's Day, RMB250 gets you five drinks (choose from Guiness, Kilkenny, and Magners Cider) at any McCawley's location in Shenzhen. If you show off your Irish pride by wearing green, you can also score a free t-shirt.

New Orleans Kitchen

Important things first: New Orleans Kitchen is offering free Tiger beer from 6-7pm. If you stick around you can also snag a pretty sweet deal on food, with two Guinness pies, fries and two green jello shots going for RMB60. There's also a towering 750 milliliter 'Shamrock Sipper' drink which you can order to-go if you're in a hurry.

The Pub

Everyone who stops by The Pub on St. Patrick's Day dressed in green gets a free NB Vanilla Coffee Stout. Additional stouts can be bought for RMB30 each, while lemongrass and lime sodas are going for just RMB28.

TAPS Brewpub (Coco Park)

A heads up to true drink connoisseurs: the downtown brewpub is offering 'real green beer' (RMB30 for 180 milliliters), flavored with woodruff and only available in limited quantities. Irish coffee will be RMB68 per cup and all Irish whiskeys are 20 percent off. There'll also be live music starting at 9.30pm.

The Tavern Sports Bar

The pub is offering an 'all day happy hour' on bottles of Guinness and Magners cider. Irish lamb stew plus bangers and mash (aka sausages and mashed potatoes) are both 20% off. And as a bonus, selected drinks are buy-one-get-one-free from 5-7pm.

For their St. Patrick's Day bash, the Terrace in Shekou is offering green beer, green jello shots and 'a load of lucky charms.' To check it out for yourself, head over to Seaworld on Friday.

The nightclub is going all out for the holiday. Drink specials run from 5-10pm, and include free whiskey shots every 15 minutes and a buy-one-get-one-free deal on beer, wine and mixed drinks. If you're still standing at 10pm, you can enter in some drinking games or a costume contest. Prizes for the contest winners are, of course, alcohol and vouchers for more drinks.
