Both Cafe 2011 and Portofino, in Longgang's Crowne Plaza Hotel, are spicing things up on February 14. While the cafe promises a 'sumptuous' dinner (RMB468 for two), Portofino will be serving up a special three-course menu and sparkling wine (RMB520 for two) on the big day.

Booking is required at least a day in advance (if you do it by February 10, you can get a discount off meals).

You can get three types of seafood plus beef wellington for RMB288, or try the promising 'Ultimate Big Combo' (RMB199), which comes with a bottle of wine.
