She Past Away emerged in the city of Bursa, a place with a rich industrial history, surrounded by the remnants of its past and a modern-day focus on textiles and car manufacturing. Founded in 2006, She Past Away seamlessly blends their cryptic name with the dark allure of Dark Wave and Post-Punk influences. Drawing from Turkey’s long poetic history, the band is driven by the creative force of lead vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Volkan Caner, alongside drummer, synthesizer player, and producer Doruk Ztürkcan.
