England is famous for its hearty weekend breakfasts, but sadly the real deal is hard to track down in Shanghai. Luckily, Amelia’s Marketplace (an artisanal food company) is teaming up with Pie Society and The British Kitchen for a series of Sunday pop-ups starting from May 10 at Kota's Kitchen on Nanjing Xi Lu (followed by May 17, 24, and 31).
Amelia’s is doing a classic English breakfast, sandwich towers, sausage and mash. British Kitchen is supplying cakes, and as for Pie Society, well, the clue’s in the name.
