Has it really been two years since Arkham took over Wulumuqi Lu? They’re celebrating with a pair of big bookings. Mysterious Canadian house wizard Jacques Greene headlines the Friday night party with support from Mau Mau, Donn and Yeti B. Last seen rocking the Super Bowl halftime show with Katy Perry, Lenny Kravitz is one of the last true rock stars. He ruled rock radio with classics like ‘Mr. Cab Driver,’ ‘Are You Gonna Go My Way?’ and ‘Fly Away’. Lately, he’s been focusing on acting with an entire generation knowing him best as Katniss Everdeen’s subversive creative stylist. Inspiration struck as he was filming The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and the result is last year's Strut. The disc is a loose and swaggering mix of what Kravitz does best - masterfully blending classic rock and soul into a funky package. He’s bringing his world tour to the Mainland for one day only and we have a pair of tickets to give away. Simply e-mail win@urbanatomy.com with the subject ‘Lenny Kravitz’ by Mar 18 for your chance to win.
