Restaurant copies are not exactly new news here in China, but when Hong Kong's hipster-friendly Thai joint Chachawan got ripped off recently in Shanghai, there was a lot of controversy.
It looks like our city's copy (which had no links whatsoever to the Hong Kong restaurant, but copied the entire interior anyway) must have been threatened with some kind of lawsuit/triad death squad/bad karma as last night our spies spotted the Changle Lu restaurant undergoing a quick rebrand...and 'StreeTHAI' is born...
