Shanghai Dongya took on reigning Asian Champions, League Champions and current league leaders Guangzhou Evergrande at the Shanghai Stadium looking for a win that would keep them in the chase for a Champions League spot next season. Instead they got humped 3-0. That sucked balls.

The Dongya defeat left them needing city rivals Shanghai Shenhua to do them a favor away against their Champions League chasing rivals Guangzhou R&F. Shenhua also got humped. Even worse. 4-0. Fuck. Still, at least we still had Shenxin to bring us some joy...
