This sweet corner is not only the birthplace of Alila Shanghai's exquisite desserts but also a space brimming with creativity and inspiration. Today, Yanyu proudly unveils six themed cakes, inviting guests to savor these meticulously crafted sweet masterpieces and experience the enchanting charm of Yanyu. Nestled on the hotel's L-floor, Chayan @5th blends time-honored tea culture with innovative desserts, offering a unique space for socializing and indulgence.

Masterpieces by the Pastry Chef

The Yanyu dessert collection is crafted by Chef Xie, whose decade-long experience in Michelin three-star restaurants shines through in his creations. With exceptional skill and a deep understanding of ingredients, Chef Xie presents a curated selection of afternoon teas and signature desserts. Highlights include the Alila Shanghai signature Lemon Thyme Macaron, alongside showstoppers like the Caviar Cake, Lemon Thyme Tiramisu, Mont Blanc, Yuzu Cheese Mist Cake, Tropical Encounter, and Golden Pistachio Fantasy. Each cake is a feast for the senses, delighting both the palate and the eyes.

A symbol of luxury and innovation, the Caviar Cake features amber pearls of nine-year-aged caviar paired with dark chocolate, creating a symphony of flavors on the palate.
