Bushido is a family-focused martial arts and fitness studio located in the heart of Jing’an. Their main fighting styles are Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai, with a fitness program that focuses on fighting conditioning through HIIT and Strength & Conditioning classes, along with U.Natural Mobility classes that focuses on body movement and flexibility.

Since Shanghai has gone into lockdown, their online training sessions have been adapted to the home environment and can be done solo or in groups. Maintaining your physical and mental health is a priority during these hard times; not only are these sessions a great opportunity to keep fit, but it gives individuals who are stuck in lockdown by themselves the opportunity to connect with friends or strangers in a virtual community.

The classes are led by excellent coaches, and Bushido has an open and welcoming community from all over Shanghai.

F45 stands for functional training for 45 minutes. A mixture of cardio and resistance-based programs and functional training mimics every day movements. Focusing on strength and cardio-based functional movements, over lockdown, F45 is utilizing body weight and things easily found around the home to give you a challenging workout.

Lockdown period classes are as follows:

  • Monday: Cardio  

  • Tuesday: Resistance

  • Wednesday: Cardio 

  • Thursday: Resistance

  • Friday: Hybrid  

  • Saturday: Hybrid

  • Sunday: Resistance
