Cyril Camus indicated: "'Innovation' has always been the route to successfully run a family business, and the cooperation with Chaîne des Rôtisseurs will not only excavate more chefs with innovation and global vision, but also inspire more creative combinations of fine wine and food.

"Meanwhile, Camus’ heritage brand value, 'Living tradition' coincides with Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, which is the cornerstone of our cooperation, aiming to explore more high-quality lifestyles with Chinese consumers."

Grand Ceremony, Wine and Gourmet Feast

At this dinner, Camus global limited-edition cognac 'Caribbean Expedition' (limited to 4,500 bottles worldwide and 300 bottles in China) was surprisingly unveiled. The journey of this cognac with a unique code engraved on each bottle began in 2018.

To experiment innovative ways of maturing cognac in Oceanic climates, Camus carefully selected 10 barrels of cognac aged for four years, which were transported by ship De Gallant across the Atlantic to Barbados in the Caribbean after 45 days, and completed the first maturation of this cognac on the ocean.

Once on the island, the cognac was entrusted to Foursquare Master Distiller Richard Seale for one year of further maturation in tropical conditions. The very unique climate, under which the maturation happened, accelerated changes in colour and flavour profile, creating this cognac with a distinctive, highly aromatic taste that is an absolute first in the history of the category.

And this time, the delicacies were elaborately crafted by the star chefs of Chaîne des Rôtisseurs, combined with Camus’s global limited-edition cognac 'Caribbean Expedition', having intense aromas of banana and pear.

The amber-colored wine with spicy accents of cocoa bean and nutmeg is full of explosive attack, followed by roundness and elegance. Dominated by brilliant ingredients, the chefs combined the classic French style with the Caribbean fantasy style to bring distinguished guests a ‘Triple Treats’.
