On October 27, SinoUnited Health opened a new clinic in Century Park and received its first clients. The Century Park Clinic is SinoUnited Health’s fifth clinic, following the Shanghai Center Clinic on West Nanjing Road, the Gefei Center Clinic on Mengzi Road at Huangpu Riverside, the New Bund Medical and Surgical Center at The New Bund World Trade Center (phase I) and the Zhangjiang Clinic on the 1st floor of the U-Plus Building on Xiangke Road.

‘Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine’ is another featured discipline championed by SinoUnited Health. In addition, they have a Digestive Endoscopy Center, Child Health Center, Day Surgery Center, Women's Health Center, Cardiac Clinic, Rehabilitation Medicine Center, Behavioral Health Development Center, Skin Management Center and Optometry Medical Center. Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Justin Zhu reaffirmed that sticking to thier consistent service concept, the Century Park Clinic will focus on providing comprehensive MDT services. From diagnosis to treatment, there is cooperation and collaboration among specialists of different departments, including Sports Medicine, Rehabilitation Physiology, Orthopedics, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Chiropractic and physical therapists. They aim to not only provide every patient with targeted and comprehensive multidisciplinary solutions but also combine professional techniques and the latest technologies in the prevention and treatment of various sports injuries, as well as pain management.
According to Dr. Frank Lorch of the Sports Medicine Department, the Center takes a conservative approach and provides treatment for patients based on upholding “function recovery as a priority and trying to avoid surgeries for our patients as much as possible.” In fact, Dr. Lorch believes that many patients advised to receive an operation can actually recover through more conservative treatments.
