That's Shanghai takes a look at some of the holiday week's best upcoming F&B events and promotions: 


Sep 27: Pizza Popup Night at EGG

Alright, we know the holiday hasn't started just yet, and this is your only night to cut loose before the shortest weekend ever. Forget about the impending working Sunday and join Egg and Kaixin Cooking for a night of New York-style Sicilian pizza. This uniquely New York take on pizza is loaded with lots of sauce, lots of cheese and a crispy, doughy square crust. They're serving up classic fresh mozzarella and parmesan, pepperoni, eggplant and a special vegan eggplant slice made from plant-based cheese.

Sep 27-28: Cheers! by Jerry Launch Party

This event sounds like a fun one. Cheers! by Jerry is a brand new platform from Ask Jerry that brings you cocktail deals and reviews. Celebrate this improvement in your drinking life with a launch party at Julu 758. For two nights, seven bars will be offering exclusive buy-one-get-one drink deals to all Cheers! by Jerry users. Don't forget to grab a cocktail passport from the team at the Atelier entrance. Collect all the stamps to earn a limited-edition boozy swag bag.

Sep 29, Oct 6: The Souk Sunday Brunch

Are you one of the lucky buggers that don't have to make up a workday this Sunday? If eating a lavish Mediterranean feast, highlighting Spanish and Moroccan dishes sounds good to you, head to Portman's Restaurant. They've got freshly shucked oysters, chilled seafood, mussels in white wine, cassoulet selections, roast lamb, suckling pig, foie gras, doner kebabs and more. Oct 1: Tuesday Night Camel Pub Quiz

Hosted by That's Shanghai's very own Ned Kelly, this weekly pub quiz takes you through ten rounds covering everything from current events, history, music, film and more. Meals are two for RMB100 and it is happy hour all night. Starts 8pm and it is all wrapped up by 10.30pm so everyone can be fresh at work the next day.

Oct 2: Wednesday Sundowners at Bull and Claw

Every Wednesday is a special Sundowners at Bull and Claw. Enjoy live music, great free flow options and fine food with Chef Hardeep on the grill. There will be brand new menu items and drinks deals only available during the Sundowners, as well as live music.

Oct 4-6: October Holiday Margarita Fun

Oct 1-7: National Week Crowler Special

No plans for Golden Week? No problem! Stone Brewing Tap Room is fully open with normal operating hours for the entire National Week.
