Sep 20: Suanpan '90s Rave

Suanpan (算盘) are excited to present the second instalment of the euphoric all-night dance party at Dada Shanghai. After throwing their first rave at Dada Beijing back in November of last year, they return to the golden age of underground electronic music once more; to a time when warehouse raves were commonplace and revolutionizing club culture and dance music.

Sep 20: Berlin Fog, The Big Wave

In need of an indie music fix this weekend? This is absolutely the gig for you. With post punkers Berlin Fog joining up with the likes of legends of the game, The Big Wave, and Bai Zhishan (approximately White Paper Fan) which includes former members of AV Okubo, this should be an excellent gig.

Sep 20: Say Yes presents Eric Cloutier [The Bunker New York]

Some DJs are suddenly everywhere. Eric Cloutier's rise has been a slower burn, but it's making the payoff all that much sweeter. Cloutier's sleek sound was born in Detroit, where he grew up, and honed over many years between the Motor City and New York, where he became a resident at The Bunker in 2010 (today he remains a ‘resident abroad’). Now based in Berlin, he's getting his feet wet as a producer, with EPs on Mosaic and Wolfskuil Ltd and another in the pipeline for Patrice Scott's label, Sistrum. But the sourcing and playing of records will always be his main obsession.

Sep 21: Motorbike Maximum Rock 'n' Soul

From the boys in the Shanghai Soul Club — DJs Sacco and Baron Van West — comes a night of blistering rock and soul delivered exclusively on wax. These selectors draw from vintage surf sounds and nuggets era scorchers to power pop to that good ole punk ’n’ soul.
