Multiple Shanghai Venues Closed By Authorities Until Further Notice

Bad news Shanghai party people. Some of our favorite bars and nightclubs have been ordered to close for the foreseeable future by the police. 

We’re sure everyone is aware that nightlife in Shanghai has hit a bit of a turbulent period of late, and popular bars like Dada, Celia, Ninja and, according to well-placed sources that we spoke to, many others have been asked to close either until the end of June or somewhere thereabouts. 

Bar owners that we spoke to told us that they are awaiting further instructions about re-opening dates, but the general consensus seems to be that these closures will last for the month of June only. Let us only hope.
