World Cup season is officially upon us and we could not be more excited. It seems like everyone is getting into the football spirit, including Budweiser.

The American beer brand is honoring all you fanatical football fans out there with a new global campaign called 'Light Up the World.' The goal (get it?) is to energize the billions of football fans around the world and to celebrate all the players participating in the 2018 World Cup. This year, Budweiser is the World Cup's biggest sponsor.

And as a shout out to China's passionate football fans, Budweiser displayed a billboard with a special message during the high stakes match between Brazil and Costa Rica on Friday, June 22. "Hope to see you in 2022," read the message, referring to China's national team making an appearance at the next World Cup in four years.

Budweiser World Cup Campaign

That's not all. In honor of the tournament as a whole, Budweiser has also released a special World Cup-themed beer can called ‘Rise Up' that was specially designed for China. In a nod to China's football fans, the can features a unique design, including a golden dragon which signifies the allegiance between Budweiser and China.

Don't hesitate becuase there are only 2022 sets available!

Budweiser hopes that its new campaign will help get China's football fans even more excited for this year's World Cup games.
