The folks behind such merriment as FEAST Festival and Shanghai Supperclub have teamed up with the DRiNK magazine boozehounds to produce SIP, Shanghai's first cocktail focused festival, because why the fuck not? For its inaugural edition, SIP will bring 10 of the city's best bartenders together on the rooftop of the McKinnon Hotel in Jing'an for a two-day celebration of all things cocktail.
Repping the festival will be Eddy Yang (Tailor Bar, Above the Globe, Second Moment), Daniel An (Shrine, Taste Buds Antique), Yao Lu (Union Trading Company) and many more. And where there is booze, there will be chefs. Chefs like Freddy Raoult (The Nest, The Cannery), Juan Campos (RAW), Jonathan Ynsensé (Maya) and Austin Hu (Madison Kitchen, Diner) who will be offering signature dishes in convenient handheld formats.
