This Wednesday, Unico will be hosting a special performance by the acclaimed Remi Panossian Trio. Since studying at the prestigious Montepllier Jazz School, Panossian has been on the cutting edge of French jazz. The pianist has been performing since 2009 with Maxime Delporte on double bass and Frederic Petitprez on drums.

The trio recently was recognized for Best Revelation Jazz album for their recently released Bbang. It's the group's second album following their 2011 debut Add fiction.

In four years, the trio has performed on some of jazz's most prestigious stages and are currently in the midst of an extensive Asian tour. While the group's members have been traditionally schooled, the band has wowed audiences with their mixture of jazz with funk and electro.
