Next-door neighbors Smash and C’s join forces for their first
block party. DJs at both venues will play hip hop,

Apr 15: Super Disko Vol II: Mehmet Aslan
Shiny Shoes Shanghai & Şanghay Köfte Club team up for the second installment of Super Disko. Their headliner is Mehmet Aslan, who blends Anatolian folk hymns and Turkish funk-rock from the '70s and '80s with contemporary electronic music. He played a very cool Boiler Room set in Istanbul in 2015, and he'll be supported by Shanghai DJ Miki Discosnot for one of his final performances in Shanghai.

Apr 15: Tou-JAM: DJ Cavo
DJ Cavo, an undergound
hip-hop DJ, was an early member of
ska kings The Toasters (first 2 albums) and a member of hip hop/reggae
pioneers The Unity 2. He was also part of South Asian hip-hop fusion
group The Dum Dum
Project, and managed a nightclub in Shanghai from 2008 to 2010. Catch
him performing in Shanghai after many years away with a strong
supporting cast of local DJs, rappers and MCs, including Skinny Brown, Black Daniels, Mr. Weezy and Mastermix Masta.
