So many "China podcasts" are just that – about Chinese history, politics or other, similarly wonky subjects. Not that there's anything wrong with that (we love us some history) but, sometimes, we yearn for the lighter side of China – and now, Kung Fu Komedy has delivered. This week, the Kung Fu Komedy krew bring chat with Misha Maruma.
Misha Maruma is cofounder of CNCREATE, an online platform setup to showcase Chinese art through WeChat (ID: CHINAINSPIRE) and their website. (See That's Shanghai's interview with cofounder Lucas Brennan here). The contemporary art scene is blowing up over here, and it’s one of the few places where non-Chinese speakers can find out what’s happening. We had a great chat and talked about some of the wonderful weirdos in the Chinese art scene.
Every week, Andy Curtain tracks down the most interesting person he can find and asks them what they're doing in China. To subscribe, add the Stuck in the Middle podcast on iTunes, or copy this link to use in your favorite podcatcher app.
