How about a little green for green?

Shanghai hase recently launched a 'green account' program allowing residents to participate in  a new garbage sorting incentive plan

The Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau is currently researching who will participate in the program, but take note, there are rewards.

By following the garbage sorting plan, 'green account' holders will be able to earn points, which then can be redeemed for things like milk, soup, toothpaste, phonecards and tickets to tourist spots, or even to pay off utility bills. Not a bad deal at all.
