From 11.30am-3pm, enjoy a full buffet for RMB588 per person, or RMB788 with a glass of champagne and bottomless Bloody Mary’s. Children 12 and under are half price.

The Brew

Hair of the dog? For just RMB198/adult, RMB98/child get in on this buffet brunch that includes unlimited BREW beer, house wine, juice and soft drinks. Price includes 10-percent service charge plus 6-percent VAT.

The COOK

On the most celebrated day of the year, the COOK is offering a New Year's Day brunch set in addition to its eclectic spread of international cuisines from 13 live cooking stations. Priced at RMB298 for adults and RMB149 for children, your wallet will enjoy it as much as your tastebuds will. Goes from 11.30am to 2.30pm. Price excludes 10-percent service charge plus 6-percent VAT.

DOC

This newly launched brunch follows the adage 'go big or go home'. From 10am-3pm help yourself to daily fresh pastries and breads, gluten-free pastas and bagels, organic juices and superfoods, organic bamboo forest free range eggs, and free-flow drink options, plus live entertainment.

Jade on 36

This indulgent recovery brunch will start 2017 off on the right track. For RMB688/person plus surcharge, receive culinary highlights and free-flow champagne, wine and beer.

Lil Laundry

From 10.30am-3pm, the newly opened Lil' Laundry (sister joing of Liquid) will be serving up imported oysters. And with any order of house champagne, receive a dozen oysters free. Reservations only.

Maya

Egg-static to start off the new year right? Mayita has their huevos brunch going and it offers all the finest egg dishes you can imagine. From 11am to 4pm this a la carte Huevos Brunch features all items under RMB60 and includes dishes like corn bread huevos benedictos with a red pepper hollandaise, the Big Breakfast Burrito with chipotle sour cream, healthier salads, tacos and quesadillas and plenty more. Plus, they have free-flow margs for RMB165/person or free-flow sangria for RMB125.

Mayita

The sister to Maya, Mayita has their huevos brunch going too, and its basically the same: From 11am to 4pm this a la carte Huevos Brunch features all items under RMB70 and includes dishes like corn bread huevos benedictos with a red pepper hollandaise, the Big Breakfast Burrito with chipotle sour cream, healthier salads, tacos and quesadillas and plenty more. Plus, they have free-flow margs for RMB165/person or free-flow sangria for RMB125.

The MEAT

New Year’s brunch at the MEAT goes from 11.30am-3pm and includes a hot and cold appetizer buffet, seasonal selection seafood of the day, soup, choice of one main course and one side dish, dessert buffet and free flow juice, coffee, tea, house wine, and BREW beer. RMB428 for adults and RMB288 for children. Price includes 10-percent service charge plus 6-percent VAT.

Mr. and Mrs. Bund

After a night of partying on the Bund, clean yourself up and get right back at it with a special hangover brunch menu from Mr. and Mrs. Bund. The special menu is available from 11.30am-4pm. A la carte options are on offer as well.

Rooster

Another free-flow option, for RMB150 get a main (breakfast burrito, fry up, chicken and waffles and more), plus all you can drink Bloody Mary's or mimosas from 11am-3pm.

Yi Cafe

Yi Cafe at the Pudong Shangri-la is helping you recover on New Year’s day with a brunch buffet from their 11 culinary stations featuring cuisines from Chinese to Japanese and Western, along with festive highlights of roast turkey, honey baked ham, duck confit and desserts. From 12-3pm, spend RMB488 to get all this plus free flow Bloody Mary’s, wine, beer and juice. Kids ages 6-12 pay half price.
