TEDxShanghaiWomen Returning on Oct 28

On October 28, TEDxShanghaiWomen will be back at the Shanghai Centre for an all-day event based on the global TED topic of ‘Time.’ TEDxShanghaiWomen is the only event of its kind dedicated to women in Chinese mainland and offers a platform for connecting and inspiring people with common sense of community.

Over the course of the event, they will host a line-up of inspiring speakers to talk about time by sharing their stories with close to 700 participants. Some familiar faces you can expect to see speaking will be May Wang (Consultant at SITRI), Valerie Brown (Director at the US Agricultural Trade Office), Gwen Cardno (Deputy Consul General at Shanghai US Consulate) and Rina Joosten (Chief Commercial Officer of Seedlink Tech in China). In addition, they will live stream a series of speeches from the California event.

They anticipate a strong response from both a unique line-up of speakers as well as a diverse and enthusiastic audience. Attendees will hear stories that educate, inspire, persuade, entertain and truly embrace ideas worth sharing, and will be particularly relevant to women in Shanghai. The event will also supports local charities such as Women in Leadership League (WILL), League of Extraordinary Women and Chun Hui Children.
