NuYorica featuring Dee Dee Bridgewater and Theo Croker
Fresh off a lively JZ Festival, headliner Dee Dee Bridgewater is still in Shanghai and will make a guest appearance at Unico’s Nu Yorica night on October 21. The weekly live music session that pays tribute to the artistic vibes of New York City will be headlined by Bridgewater protege and former Shanghai staple Theo Croker with DRV Funk.

The Pearl’s favorite singer returns in style with this gangster big band night. Backed by a 12-piece big band, Frank Bray will get the crowd swinging the way bosses do. Oct 25: Fanzui Xiangfa & Bad Nerve
Genjing Records presents this deadly double-bill. Beijing’s fastcore legends Fanzui Xiangfai are celebrating their ten year anniversary with the Genjing Records released 24-track compilation of their 7” singles. Joining them are Sweden’s 80’s punks Bad Nerve, who are bringing their energetic brand of noisy hardcore punk to China for the first time.
