Late-night-carb-lovers behold: new pasta bar popping up on Donghu Lu

Yaya's - a new neighborhood pasta bar - *opening soon* - is taking over the kitchen at X Bar for the next few months. Yaya's is a no fuss, no frills eatery where the kitchen rolls out fresh and quality pasta daily alongside a selection of zingy small plates and antipasti.

To celebrate the launch of this pasta extravaganza, the team behind Yaya's is throwing a party on Friday July 16 from 7-11pm. DJs Mimi Moonflower, Cola and Beat Lament will take over the decks at X Bar to provide a soundtrack to slurp to, and there will be 50rmb cocktails to wash it all down.

Menu items will rotate regularly and include dishes like paccheri with smoked pork cheek and cured egg yolk and papardelle with splash oil, okra and zhaoyi egg yolk.
