It's time for some ramblin' prose! Join Tou-JAM/Hesher Has Culture for a live teleconference interview with MC5/proto-punk legend Wayne Kramer. He'll be discussing his memoir "The Hard Stuff" which was recently covered in the GOING THROUGH PAGES Rock N Roll Book Club. A sliding-scale donation of 50-100RMB to Kramer's Jail Guitar Doors USA charity is requested.

Kramer was the founder of legendary 60s-early 70s band The MC5, a band whose bombast and politics set the stage for punk. The title song for their first album, "Kick Out the Jams,” is essential. Kramer later played with GG Allin, Marianne Faithful, Alice Cooper, Johnny Thunders, and as a solo performer. His life is notable for overcoming prison time and addiction to becoming an elder statesman of hard rock.

Sit back and listen to host DJ BO, who has previously interviewed legends like Afrika Islam, Christopher Makos, The Fleshtones, and more....and bring questions of your own!
