These Photos Show Just How Out of Control Beijing's Shared Bike Issue Is

At this point we all know that China’s shared-bike mania has gotten a little bit out of control. Sure, we enjoy using those colorful little bikes. But sometimes we just want our sidewalks back. We suppose it’s a love-hate thing. 

From Mobike to Ofo to everything inbetween, it's starting to feel like all of Beijing is literally swarming with a rainbow of shared bikes – well, that’s probably because it is.

Shared bikes have already been banned from some streets in Shanghai and Beijing. And the following photos make a good case as to why. Because honestly this is just ridiculous. These images were captured on Monday and show a sea of bikes surrounding a vehicle near one of the city’s subway stops. As we all know, Beijing’s subway stations are a Mecca for shared bikes.
