Chinese Man Devours Giant 2kg Mooncake in Half Hour

Everyone went mad for mooncakes last week as the timely treats flew off the shelves ahead of Mid-Autumn Festival. But there's one Chinese man who puts us all to shame when it comes to the mooncake game, and he goes by the name of Pan Yizhong.

Although they vary in size, you can usually hold a mooncake in one hand. That would be impossible with the monsterous two kilogram mooncakes recently featured at an eating contest last week in Changsha, Hunan.

Pan took down the two kilogram beast devouring it in only 28 minutes. Others even tried to join in but had to accept that Pan truly was the man with a plan.

Pan is no ordinary man, he likes to eat... a lot. Previously in his competitive eating career, he ate 150 quail eggs and 10 chicken eggs in 40 minutes to promote a restaurant. But with the festival approaching, there was one challenge he needed to take on and he did China proud.
