Gigantic zeppelin-style airship yours to buy in Beijing

Beijing’s anti-corruption drive has delivered its biggest prize yet: a gigantic zeppelin-style airship. Better still, the Aeros' 40D Sky Dragon – think front cover of Led Zeppelin’s seminal debut album –  is awaiting public auction on the website of China Beijing Equity Exchange (CBEX). Get your bid in now!

Estimated to be worth ten million RMB (USD1.8 million), the airship was confiscated from an unnamed Beijing based person and entrusted for auction by Beijing No.1 Medium People's Court.

According to CBEX, the airship measures in at 46.3m*13.4m*10.6m, has two engines, four wings (it's a goddamn monster) and one cabin and can fly at a maximum speed of 82km/h, or about three times the speed of your crappy electric bike.

The auctioneers claim the airship has been certified by aviation authorities in China, the US and Germany - this thing is totally legit (though fly it over Beijing, and you’re likely to get shot down by the military) – and was previously used in bombastic aerial advertisements, and (we speculate here) hard rocking champagne orgies.
