Halloween 2021 is here! Is there any better excuse for costumes, parties and scaring the living daylights out of your besties?

That’s Beijing brings you a guide to the best parties, meals and more in the Chinese capital this Halloween weekend.

Given the show's recent success, it’s perhaps not surprising that some have gone with a Squid Game-themed party. If that’s your thing, check out Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing’s and Q MEX’s Halloween parties.

Jing-A will host their famous ‘Beer Mile’ for the seventh year running. Fancy downing a pint and running a lap while in Halloween costume? The Halloween Race might be for you.

Want to experience a different take on Halloween? Check out Migas Mercado's ancient Chinese ghost story-themed party. Make sure to arrive in costume.

Of course, Halloween doesn’t have to mean wild parties. Plenty of venues are offering buffets, children’s activities, afternoon tea and more.

Bear in mind that many venues may require guests to buy tickets in advance and may also offer early-bird deals. Be sure to double-check before you make any plans in order to avoid disappointment.

Wherever you choose to spend your Halloween weekend, we hope you can experience the best and spookiest that the capital has to offer. Enjoy!
