Scene & Heard: Yawn

Set next door to a lounge bar (hello, alcohol-induced shopping), Yawn is a trendy shop that is anything but boring. Make your way through new cocktail joint Amid inside Jing Yard, the newly rebranded 1949 Courtyard, to its sister bar Monopoly hidden in the back, and get your drink on before unlocking yet another sliding door to this funky boutique that only opens at night. Here you’ll find plenty of unnecessary ways to break the bank, from freaky troll doll lighters and chunky earrings to LPs, art books and select designer apparel. It’s all very curated and quite original, and did we mention it’s basically inside of a bar?
